TIM STOWE
Leadership
Tim served as Chairman of the American Consulting Engineer’s Council Transportation Committee for 3 years. In this role he testified before the US Congress four times and participated in planning sessions with the USDOT Secretary twice. Tim was instrumental in the authorization of the ISTEA legislation.

Tim Served as Chairman of the Top of Virginia Chamber of Commerce in 2009 when 175 new members were added to the rolls.
​
Tim was President of the Cedar Creek Battlefield Foundation for four years, culminating with the 2014 150th anniversary of the Battle of Cedar Creek. Tim established strong partnerships with Belle Grove and the National Park Service that resulted in 10,000+ attendees at the 150th anniversary event.

Following a countywide election, Tim served as Chairman of the Frederick County Republican Committee from 2018 to 2020. He worked with other elected leaders to improve the quality of life for Frederick Co.

Business
Tim owns and operates Stowe Engineering, a local small business that provides engineering expertise for large infrastructure projects. Tim frequently facilitates economic development projects that grow our tax base.

Tim served as Exec VP of a 200-person engineering firm where he provided leadership to professional staff daily.
​
Stowe Engineering is a Veteran Owned business.
Veteran
Tim spent 8 years on active duty in the US Navy Seabees. He was responsible for field engineering and construction management of major infrastructure projects at various locations worldwide.

Tim has extensive and relevant experience with planning, engineering, and constructing large infrastructure and building projects.
Tim has a firm grasp of project costs controls and estimating for construction.
